The heating system from the prior page not only heats and cools my home when appropriate but also sends wafts of delicious smells through my abode. What a marvelous piece of craftiness! I simply remove the cover, lay fresh incense (unlit, of course) over the filter and in seconds my entire home is refreshed. I love the smell of a sweet home.
We don’t always notice the little things. Smells, sounds, sights, and other sensations slip by us unnoticed. As we let go of our thought and become present, everything takes on a more intense representation. Sounds are louder and more harmonious; sights are more vibrant and beautiful; sensations feel better; and smells are stronger. One feels more alive and youthful. Energy is lifted and eyes shine.
Everything is changing, constantly. The book for which this blog is dedicated to, that is written to all ages of readers and all walks of faith and backgrounds, teaches this universal truth: Life is Change. We can embrace it, or we can fight it. Our choice determines the quality of our life. Embracing the change, we embrace life.
We have three choices of what to do with our minds:
1. We can think of yesterday,(in fondness or regret).
2. We can think of tomorrow, (with hope or fear).
3. Or, we can cease thought and embrace the change of life.
A lifetime is built moment by moment. What moments will you choose?
