New opportunity brings a euphoric rush of bliss as we ponder possibilities. With a single thought of what may be, we feel a surge of energy… a feeling of hope and excitement! We may ask ourselves, “If thought can bring me to such a state of ecstasy, where else can it take me?” We already know the answer.
Often it is difficult for us to believe that we can remain in a state of bliss eternally. Yet, when we realize that thought is what brings us to heaven in the first place, then we also must take into consideration the possibility of controlling thought in such a way that we willfully think thoughts that feel euphoric.
Feeling great is pure health. It’s healing. When we feel good, we aren’t stressed or fearful, (states of mind that cause dis-ease), we are at peace and above! We laugh! Sometimes we cry… but we are open, allowing life to pour through us.
The truth is, we don’t always choose thoughts that feel great. Sometimes our thoughts feel downright cruddy! But… perhaps we are getting better at recognizing when our energy level has dropped, and are learning to live in awareness of what we think and our overall health.
Our thoughts are electrical currents in our brains. If our body isn’t functioning at peak level, our thoughts cannot function at peak level. There are many influences we can put into our bodies to change our chemistry, but they are temporary and often come with a let down. It is much more powerful to keep one’s mind and body healthy than to rely on outside influences for one’s bliss.
We choose what we feed our minds from a smorgasbord of conversations, music, video and written selections. Each input affects the brain’s path of thought.
Rest of the body as well as the mind is of utmost importance for our brain’s optimum functioning. Quieting thought allows intuition to flow. Being still with all that is around us and focusing on sensations throughout our body rejuvenates the mind.
Gratitude and appreciation are energy boosters that are always available to us. When we open to love, we have no fear, and thus, nothing holding back out natural state of bliss.
Open heart, open mind, and choices that encourage bliss. In a nutshell, that is my recipe for heaven.

A Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness
If we are strong, when the woes of life come… ( changes that we aren’t ready to accept), we will quickly recover from strikes of frustration, disappointment, and regret. If we are weak, they will overcome us.
Strength comes from continual nourishment of the mind and body. When one wants more intensely to be of health than they want to indulge in momentary satisfaction, they nourish their self. They ‘hunger and thirst for righteousness’.
Most of us understand what our bodies need, whether or not we provide it for ourselves. We know we need fresh air, water, exercise, rest, and nourishing food. To maintain a healthy body requires diligence, awareness, and effort on our part. There is so much temptation all around us! We become sedentary. We drink coffee, soda, and other ‘replacements’ for water that actually rob us of the very properties that good water provides. We choose the cheeseburger and fries… or the quickie taco. We love those brownies, especially with ice cream and hot fudge covering them! But… we know what we need. We know that as we make the choice to remain indoors, all cozy on our sofa, eating our Doritos and drinking our beer, that we are harming our bodies. Frankly, many of us don’t care. We aren’t aware of the effects that are happening at this very moment to our bodies and our minds.
Yes, the mind, too, is affected by our physical choices. But just as much, and even more so, it is affected by our choice of food for thought. It’s something that many of us aren’t aware of. We open our minds to whatever is available… pouring in garbage from multiple sources. Not only are we addicted and controlled by television and other sources of entertaining media, we also surrender our lives to the dirty laundry of ‘the daily news’ and gossip. How many soap operas of ‘the stars’ and daily horrors do we need to know about? I’m not suggesting that we shelter ourselves from what is in front of us, but often we give our lives away for things that we have no direct control over. We love the emotion of shock the media brings because it makes us feel alive. At least we care about something for the moment. But it weighs us down. Our faith is next to nil. We no longer connect even with ourselves, let alone others. It is killing us.
We can’t become ‘too healthy’ physically, and the same is true for the mind. One cannot input ‘too much’ inspiration. We cannot over- nourish our minds with too much wisdom. We are starving for healthy input!
To be healthy requires an AWARENESS of what makes one ill and what produces vital energy. It isn’t necessary to turn from what makes us sick if we are already pointing at what makes us healthy. A hunger and thirst for righteousness will do the trick.
We choose our health moment by moment.
What will you put into your body today? *** What will you put into your mind?

Relationships and Emotional Pain
Relationships are constantly changing. Sometimes the change can be wonderful! Often, however, we feel hurt by the change. The pain we feel is equal to our attachment to the relationship of the past. When we resist change, it hurts.
In the midst of emotional pain, some of us cry, some get angry. Some want to hide away, others want revenge. Each of us has our own way of dealing with emotional pain. Often we hurt others and ourselves in our release of emotion.
But… what if the pain could be removed altogether?
Emotional pain is the resistance to change. Without the resistance, there is no pain. We are attached to how things were… and fearful of how they may be. We don’t trust life.
It’s easier to talk about trusting life than it is to actually do it. It gives us security to think that we are in control. The more insecure we feel, the more control we demand.
The simple key to trusting life, is to move away from thought and be in this moment… outside of the monkey mind. Listen… look… smell… feel… sense the world all around you… know that it is all a part of you… feel the movement inside of your body and realize the harmonics created with All. Allowing this moment to be exactly as it is, one frees themselves from the bondage of their own mind.
Change is a constant. All is in motion. We can fight it or embrace it. Our moment by moment choice determines our life experience.
It doesn’t have to hurt. Quieting the mind, one is at peace.

Desire
I have a desire… a longing deep inside of me. I think you have it, too. It is what drives us to continue. The more we can get in touch with our desire, the more we can understand ourselves and make choices that lead us down the path to our dreams.
Sometimes the desire feels more like pain than bliss. We think that we can’t have what we desire, or we fear that having our desire will be worse than not having it. This is a clue that it’s time to pay attention to thought.
When we don’t feel good, we lose our energy. Of course the energy doesn’t change. The energy is omnipresent and consistent. The difference is that we are not in tune with it. Our thoughts have taken over and we’re living through fear rather than in an engagement with life.
The times when desire doesn’t feel good are the times when we become attached to our desire. Desire is euphoric. If we don’t allow ourselves to live in bliss and euphoria on a regular basis, we may be starving for good feelings. Since the desire feels so good, we become addicted to it.
The desire is there as a guide. It isn’t the path, yet it shines light on the way. Once the desire is known, it must be let go of. New desires will come. We don’t need to make it happen. All that is required of us for the manifestation of our dreams and reaching our highest destiny is to be sensitive to the guidance and act on our intuition.
Abundance, awareness, freedom, gratitude, health, peace, and love are desires of our heart. Serving the call, we serve all. This is True Desire.

Warrior Servant
The following quote is from the work Lao Tzu, Hua Hu Ching.
“It is the events which keep changing. The events of the past cannot be kept. The events of the present cannot be held. The events of the future cannot be caught. But the mind is too easily possessed by such images. If the events themselves do not seize the mind, totally absorbing one’s consciousness, then the preconceptions and preoccupations of the mind prevent one’s true awareness of the event. When these deviations occur, trouble always follows.”
If you need a reason to come alive, that’s a good one right there! If our minds are not engaged, they will wander. We have busy brains! And unless a conscious effort is made, the mind has a tendency to think toward the negative. It has been our training from birth. As adults, we teach the art of negative thinking to our children. There have been few who have attained the level of using their minds for the sole purpose of experiencing the moment at hand and creation. They were/are peaceful, joyful, loving, ALIVE people.
To engage in the moment is to fully experience it, without naming, judging, or needing. When we are fully focused on ‘now’, all of our energy is used for creation. None is wasted. Our lives are productive in our service to the call. Without effort, much is done.
The warrior and the servant are one in the same. Without distinction, the desire is to serve.

Who Is ShannyBugg????
Our confusion is moving into clarity. There is a shift happening. Something wonderful is going on, and it is very powerful. We are learning about ourselves, and we desire to teach our children what we are learning. We want them to know that living a life of gratitude is living a life of bliss. We want them to trust, serve, and reach their highest point of personal development. We want them to never pick up the burdens of fear and regret, but rather to follow the voice inside that will guide them to paradise.
ShannyBugg loves life. She is curious and open minded. She is a child of freedom.
Her quest is to teach all that life is a journey to enjoy. Not a second has to be lived in fear or regret. We can live life to its fullest!
Shannybugg reminds us to dream! She reminds to be grateful for everything… and ever curious about all. She displays wonder, joy, and excitement for life! She reminds us that we hold the keys to Paradise!
In Bugg’s Book of Change, ShannyBugg gives the reader the knowledge that life is change. We can embrace it, or we can fight it. Our choice determines our quality of life.
ShannyBugg’s paintings and poetry weave a memory in the mind of the reader. As life continues, should the burdens of fear and regret infest, woven memories will serve as a tool to help uproot negative thinking from the garden of the mind.
Synchronicity created ShannyBugg. .. and she has a message to share: LIFE IS CHANGE! ENJOY!
